The Pro Bowl is no longer being held on the Sunday before the Super Bowl. Instead, the league has moved the event into Super Bowl week, making it part of the league’s broader festivities at the site of the Big Game.
Now in its fourth year as a non-contact flag football event, the Pro Bowl continues to evolve in an effort to generate more interest from both players and fans. Along with the AFC vs. NFC flag football game, the Pro Bowl Games also include a variety of skills competitions throughout the week.

No. There is no NFL game on Sunday, Feb. 1.
In recent years, the Pro Bowl was traditionally played during the week between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl. However, the NFL has now shifted the Pro Bowl into Super Bowl week rather than the Sunday before the championship.
As a result, this marks the first Sunday since the final weekend of August with no NFL football airing on television.

Pro Bowl rosters were selected by a combination of players, coaches, and fans. Due to injuries and Super Bowl participation, several alternates and replacements were added to the teams, including Green Bay Packers return specialist Keisean Nixon.
San Francisco 49ers legends and Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Steve Young will serve as the head coaches.
