Lil Poppa Death

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Rapper Lil Poppa was found dead in Fulton County on Wednesday, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Lil Poppa, whose real name was Janarious Mykel Wheeler, was pronounced dead shortly after 11 a.m. He was 25 years old.

Officials said the cause and manner of death are still under investigation.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Lil Poppa was signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG). He gained popularity in recent years with songs such as “Love & War,” “Mind Over Matter,” and “HAPPY TEARS.”

The rapper was scheduled to perform in New Orleans in March as part of his upcoming tour dates.
