Meet Ann Michael Maye, Drake Maye’s Wife and His Biggest Super Bowl Supporter

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is headed to the 2026 Super Bowl, and his wife, Ann Michael Maye (née Hudson), is expected to be his biggest supporter from the stands.

Drake and Ann Michael have known each other since middle school and later attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill together. After the Patriots selected Drake in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, he capped off his rookie season by proposing to his longtime girlfriend.

The couple married on June 21, 2025, at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina, according to The News & Observer.

“Getting married is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life,” Drake told reporters in February 2026. “Good things happen when you get married, and I think that’s been true so far.”

A rising social media presence

While Drake shines on the field, Ann Michael has built her own following online. She has gained more than 500,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares crafting projects, game-day outfits and baking recipes.

“She’s got her own little journey that’s been awesome,” Drake said during a January 2026 press conference. “Just being herself — that’s what I love most about her.”

A love story that started young

The couple first met in middle school, Ann Michael revealed in a May 2024 TikTok set to Taylor Swift’s “So High School,” captioned “So middle school*.”

They both attended William A. Hough High School in North Carolina before Drake transferred to Myers Park High School. Drake made their relationship Instagram official in 2020, posting a New Year’s photo of the couple with the caption, “Bringing in ‘20 with a 10.”

Football runs in her family

Football has always been part of Ann Michael’s life. Her father played college football at Wofford College, and her younger brother Tad Hudson played quarterback for the UNC Tar Heels. Tad was even Drake’s teammate during the 2023 season before transferring to Coastal Carolina University in 2024.

A UNC graduate

Drake may be one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in UNC history, but Ann Michael built her own résumé at the university. She graduated in May 2025 with a degree in business administration, according to her LinkedIn profile.

She was also a member of the Kappa Delta sorority, following in the footsteps of her sister, Khaki, who joined in 2024.

Supporting Drake every step of the way

Ann Michael has been by Drake’s side throughout his football journey — from high school to college and ultimately to the NFL. After he was selected No. 3 overall by the Patriots in the 2024 draft, she shared an emotional Instagram post celebrating the milestone.

“Words cannot describe how proud I am of you,” she wrote. “What an incredible blessing it has been to be by your side through all of this. I love you and can’t wait for this next chapter. Go Pats!”

From engagement to wedding

Drake proposed in January 2025 during a romantic beachside moment.

“Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you!” he wrote alongside engagement photos on Instagram.

Five months later, the couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in North Carolina. Drake wore a classic black tuxedo, while Ann Michael stunned in a strapless gown with a lace bodice and tulle veil.

“What a night! Cheers to forever,” Drake captioned their wedding post. Ann Michael replied in the comments, “Best day ever!!!! I love you.”

A talented baker with a growing platform

Ann Michael’s TikTok success has also opened doors professionally. Her baking skills landed her an NBC Sports Boston digital series, Beyond Bakemas, where she showcases her favorite desserts.

Many of her treats make their way to Gillette Stadium.

“The offensive line is my main recipient of baked goods,” she said in a January 2026 video. “They’ll sometimes leave thank-you notes saying, ‘Just keep feeding us — we need to protect your husband.’”

As for Drake’s favorites, he has a sweet tooth for Ann Michael’s cinnamon roll snickerdoodles, Crumbl-inspired sugar cookies, and Puppy Chow.
